The PCYDC is involved with a number of other community organizations. Below is a partial list:

 

 

  • Indiana Youth Services Association - Certified Member

    • ​​IYSA membership is comprised of Youth Service Bureaus that deliver community based juvenile delinquency and family support programming. IYSA’s current 32 members serve approximately 74 Hoosier counties. Youth Services Bureaus (YSB) serve vulnerable youth and families and offer programming that supports positive youth development. YSB programming is defined in Indiana state statue and includes four core roles:

      • Juvenile delinquency prevention

      • Information and referral services

      • Community education

      • Advocacy for youth

 

  • Mental Health America of Putnam County

  • Putnam County Child Protection Team

  • Community Partners Steering Committee

  • Putnam County Safe Schools Coalition

  • Putnam County National Night Out

    • ​This community outreach allows us the platform to stand together to promote drug awareness, health, safety and unity in our fight to build a safer nation for our children.

  • Healthy Families of Putnam/Owen Counties

    • ​Healthy Families is a child abuse and neglect prevention program and is available in every county in the state. Healthy Families is a voluntary home visitation program that works with new parents. 

  • Putnam County Community Corrections Advisory Board

  • DCS Regional Service Council

  • Putnam County Prevent Child Abuse

  • Putnam County 360 Coalition

  • Putnam County Community Needs Assessment Coalition
